Seragam hijau Hansip almarhum bapaknya terlipat di lemari, bersama senter tua yang kacanya retak. Masih kebesaran di bahu Mas Boy. Malam ini ia ronda di Pos Ronda 07, Kampung Sukajaga, dengan kentongan, senter, dan apa saja yang bisa dipinjamkan tetangga.

Mas Boy found his late father's green Hansip uniform folded in the wardrobe, next to an old flashlight with cracked glass. It is still too big across the shoulders. Tonight he takes the night watch at Pos Ronda 07, Kampung Sukajaga, with a kentongan, a flashlight and whatever the neighbors can spare.

Maling, copet dan preman datang duluan. Lalu pocong mulai melompat.

Thieves, pickpockets and street thugs come first. Then the pocong start hopping.
